  • It is a common experience in meditation that people fear the experience of being separated from their bodies. Meditation seeks to bring balance to the body and mind for the purpose of focusing on your energy. Learning to ground yourself in your body helps you to stay connected to your body.

  • Exploring your mind and all of its different facets is a fascinating process and an extremely valuable side effect of meditation. In this process, you will become aware of the deepest darkest corners of your mind. This is often the place where people confront the parts of themselves they refuse to accept. Integratng your whole self is an essential step in the meditative process.

  • Clarity is often misunderstood to be associated with the mind. In reality, it is more about getting beyond the mind and connecting with your energy, or spirit. Understand this as the sun shining on to your skin. The mind perceives and understands the warmth but is not the source of it.
