Much like life, yoga can sometimes seem simple and other times feel complicated. This course teaches 10 foundational poses found in most Vinyasa Yoga classes. Vinyasa is a form of Hatha Yoga which accentuates not only the individual poses but more so sequences of poses and how they interact together. This practice is often referred to as Vinyasa Flow.
This course illuminates the poses by teaching the 6 potential movements for the upper body and how they can be combined with the handful of lower body foundataions. Understanding how to make a foundation with stregth and stability and then moving the upper body over that foundation freely, creates a sense of liberation for the mind. Freedom of movement is not some lofty goal that is out of reach for you. This course will guide you one step at a time with an intuitive framework based off of how it feels in your body when you align to the foundations of these yoga poses.
When you complete this course, you will have a clear understanding of how to get into most common poses. You will understand how to move through a sun salutation sequence. You will know how to move through any vinyasa yoga class, anywere.
