Yoga is a process that harmonizes body, mind and consciousness. While expanding conscious awareness in the body, one practices yoga in the mind. This is done consciously and subconsciously with every breath taken. The ultimate goal of the yoga practice is to expand conscious awareness, both within and outside of the body. This allows for an unconditional, holistic experience of living a good life.
Practicing yoga consistently helps to blend the way you stretch your body in a safe and stable environment into the way you live your lives in a dynamic and uncontrollable environment. With consistent yoga practice, you teach your mind and body to feel safe in the presence of discomfort and uncertainty.
Consisitency creates discipline.
Discipline fosters confidence.
Confidence breeds creativity.
Creativity, stemming from a foundation of discipline and confidence gives birth to courage and adaptability.

I love the yoga practice for it’s ability to touch all aspects of the self. Whether you want to focus on your body, mind or consciousness, yoga has something to offer. In my classes, I like to address all three aspects of the self as they are experienced in the body. Yoga teaches that the present moment exists in the body and that from the present moment, you can observe your mind and expand your conscious awareness.
As a Reiki master, and a life-long teacher, I am fascinated with the transmission of information in the form of energy that we can not fully comprehend with the mind.
In my classes, I encourage you to push yourself physically so that you can establish your boundaries and learn to respect them. With well established boundaries, the yoga practice will help you deepen your relationship with them and grow at your own pace. In this way of practicing yoga, you will always be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing in the right way.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over ten years. My relationship with the practice began as a physical replacement for soccer following multiple knee surgeries. It has since grown into a deep appreciation for what yoga brings to my life by going inside myrself and being present on my mat. I believe that yoga is for any body, and my teaching offers modifications for all levels, preferences, and injuries. Nobody starts their yoga practice being flexible! I live in Riverdale with my family and I’m excited to share my love for yoga with others in the Riverdale community!
Join me Mondays at 7:15 pm for Vinyasa (2).
I’ve been a yogi for more than two decades and began meditating regularly in 2022 to help manage brain fog and re-find myself while going through the early stages of divorce. Mind/body practices like meditation, breathwork and yoga help me regulate my nervous system, cultivate self-love, and reconnect with my authentic self. I offer a unique approach to meditation, using continuous body grounding cues to help still the mind and make the benefits of meditation more accessible so that everyone can strengthen their relationship with their body, while leading a vibrant, fulfilling life.
Join me Tuesdays at 7:15 pm for Grounding Flow & Meditation.

Yoga is my happy place and I’ve always wanted to share it’s benefits with others. After retiring as a registered nurse, I received my 200 hour teaching training from Heights Meditation and Yoga.
My goal is to make yoga accessible to everyone. I do this by meeting students where they are, offering modifications throughout the practice and encouraging students to take a challenge when ready.
I look forward to meeting you!

Based in Riverdale with my loving husband, Mike, and two dear children, Ellary (9) and Rowan (2), I split my time between New York City and Sag Harbor, where I completed the Yoga Shanti 200-hour Teacher Training program and continues my studies with my mentors and the studio throughout the year. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years and in 2022 deepened my studies with Colleen Saidman Yee and Rodney Yee, exploring how Iyengar yoga embodies the eight limbs of yoga by uniting alignment, breath, and meditation. My teaching is rooted in the idea of respecting the spine with every posture. Whether sitting, standing or balancing, yoga becomes an invitation to create balance, effort, and ease.
Join me for Vinyasa (2) every Saturday at 8:15 am.
My yoga journey began back in 2000, exploring different methods and styles before completing certifications to teach both children and adults. With a strong foundation and practice in Iyengar and Ashtanga, I’ve been guiding students since 2015, blending alignment and mindful exploration of poses with a focus on personal growth, both on and off the mat. I love sharing yoga in a way that’s approachable and fun, always hoping to bring not just balance and strength, but also a smile to your practice. I also teach mindfulness meditation in a way that’s simple, relatable, and fun. I look forward to connecting and practicing together!

As a dedicated practitioner for over a decade, I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of yoga practices. After facing a spinal injury that nearly led to surgery, I discovered a way to heal my body, quiet my mind, and restore my energy, without relying on medical intervention. Now I share those tools with others, helping them release stress, build resilience, and discover a calmer way of living.
