This workshop is designed to provide you with tools and techniques to use in daily life so that you access different mental perspectives.
With the proper perspective, you understand how to put space between you and your discomfort. Once you create space, you decide what to fill it with. The proper perspcective allows you to fill it with the potential to become your own healer.
Living your life with the ability to acknowledge and release the stress and tension naturally produced in the body allows you to go places and do things that most others can’t.
Becoming a better care taker of your body, you get stronger. That strength actively supports and nourishes your body during times of increased stress and tension.
The goal is not to live a soft and comfortable life, rather to softly comfort your body throughout the hardest times of your life.
The more tension you expose yourself to with this technique of releasing your resistance to the tension you feel, the stronger you become. The stronger you become, the more tension you will be capable of processing. You become stronger when you let go of the desirous attempt to be stronger. In that small form of surrender, you reveal your greatest strength and carry it with you throughout your day.
This workshop includes hands on myofascial release during the yoga poses. You will learn how to receive the myofascial relief from an external impulse through physical touch and then learn to duplicate that external impulse and recreate it from within. Once you understand how to activate the myofascial relief on your own, you can do it where ever you are and when ever you need.
