The goal is to move in and out of a chair with ease and grace throughout your day.

Using a chair for comfort and stability, you will stretch the muscles all throughout your body. We will use the chair as a seat but also as a prop, sometimes using it to support us in balancing or standing poses.

If you can do yoga in a chair,

then you can learn to do it on your feet,

and then on the floor.

These chair yoga classes focus on establishing confidence and stability for the mind. Then you will explore the limitations of your movement moving towards the floor and standing on your feet.
