Learn to direct your mind so that it perceives this work as taking steps in the direction of freedom, as opposed to taking steps in the direction of pain and restriction.

Only you can know your mind well enough to incentivize it to do this work.

Reward your mind with validation every time it alerts you to the discomfort you are in. Then, use bigger, deeper breaths to break up some of the stress you’re experiencing and teach the mind how you would like it to deal with stress and discomfort going forward.

Set an example for yourself. Become your own teacher.
