This is a level 1-2 class series.

This 4 week series is designed for anyone who is serious about taking their yoga practice to the next level. Going through this series, you will learn how to use yoga poses to get stronger and more flexible by learning to see yoga as more than just a series of static poses. We will learn how to use the mind and body together for the purpose of achieving our tangible goals.

Each week’s particular focus

Week 1

Transitions and Balance

Develop transitional awareness

  • learn grounding cues for balancing

  • transition your body weight in three dimensions

  • focus the mind while moving the body

Week 2

Mind-Body Synchronization

Expand your mind throughout your body

  • learn breathing techniques that help in real time

  • test your breath through specific sequences

  • regulate your nervous system under stress

Week 3

Static Holds

Sustain challenging poses while regulating stress

  • identify the key muscles required to hold poses

  • develop core strength for stabilization

  • solidify your foundations for the common poses

Week 4

Passive Recovery Movement

It’s not all or nothing…

  • learn to enjoy yoga without effort

  • switch between passive and active in poses

  • keep up with a full speed vinyasa 2 class
