If your goal is to know how to feel better in your body, you’re going to have to become better at feeling in your body.

Pratyahara is the fifth step in the eight step yoga process. We practice this by withdrawing our senses from the outside world. Focusing on your body and the senses you can feel in your body, grounds you in your body. This is a pivotal step in the yoga process because your experience in life is dictated by the clarity of connection you have with you body.

In this workshop, we’ll explore different techniques through movement, breath, self-massage and meditation designed to enhance your coonection to your body. The focal point of our workshop will be connecting to your literal beating heart. Knowing how to connect to your heart and cultivating a trusting relationship with your heart is an essential step in the yoga practice.
