THE SILENCE YOU AVOID

A Breath & Meditation Workshop

THE SILENCE YOU AVOID

There's a reason you reach for your phone the second there's a quiet moment. A podcast during the commute, a show while you eat, background noise while you fall asleep — silence has a way of feeling uncomfortable, even unsafe, so most of us fill it before we ever really notice it's there.

This workshop is built around exactly that — sitting in the quiet, on purpose, with nothing to distract you from it. Breath becomes the anchor, something simple to hold onto when the silence starts to feel like too much. It's not about forcing your mind to go blank. It's about learning that you can actually sit with yourself without needing to escape.

We'll move through simple, guided breathing practices paired with real stretches of quiet, sitting stillness. This is more mentally challenging than physically demanding — expect some real discomfort at first, especially if silence isn't something you're used to. Many people find that the discomfort softens the longer they stay with it, and what's underneath is quieter and calmer than they expected.

No meditation experience is required. This is for anyone who's noticed they avoid being alone with their own thoughts, and wants to try something different.
