Yoga for Beginners
tomorrow never comes
Two sessions on back-to-back weeks in January, with Kendra. Dates coming soon.
Get the Dates FirstStart Before You Feel Ready
You've thought about starting yoga for a while now. Maybe you're waiting until things calm down, until you're less busy, until you feel a little more ready.
That moment usually doesn't arrive on its own, and in the meantime you're still carrying whatever it was you wanted yoga to help with in the first place. These two sessions are built for exactly that first step. Instead of jumping into a regular class and hoping you keep up, you'll build a real foundation from day one: clear, steady, and paced for beginners.
The Result: No guessing, no feeling behind, no pressure to already know what you're doing. Join Kendra and move from your very first breath and pose to a full, connected practice by the end of your second session.
Two Sessions, Step by Step
Session 1 · Breath, Alignment and a Steady Center
Learning Ujjayi breath, a steady, audible breath you'll use in every class. Working through Half Sun Salutations, building a solid stance in foundational standing poses, syncing breath with movement, and finding the core awareness that supports your lower back.
Session 2 · Twists, Lunges and Bringing It All Together
Expanding the Sun Salutation, adding basic twists for spinal mobility, and refining control in standing sequences. Introducing Crescent Lunge and Low Lunge, and exploring supported backbends for the first time.
