The Experience
Celebrate the way you want to feel. A private yoga flow with a live sound bath or Reiki, guided by our teachers on NYC’s only copper-grounded floor.
Most celebrations run on noise. Loud bars, packed brunches, a group chat that never sleeps. A crowded night out takes in the energy of everything else happening around it, and you feel it the next morning.
An intimate gathering keeps that energy in the room, with the people who matter most. Your group moves through a yoga flow shaped around who’s there, then settles onto the copper grid for a sound bath of crystal singing bowls and handpan drum, or for hands-on Reiki from our Reiki master. Rather than feeling depleted after your special event, everyone leaves renewed.
Our goal is to create a memorable, lasting experience for your special event and life milestone. Every celebration is led by our own teachers, Reiki master and sound healers, the same people who hold space here seven days a week.

Our most complete celebration: a flow and a live sound bath for the group, a private Reiki session for the guest of honor, then 30 minutes to linger over hot tea and chocolate chip cookies.

The Details
- Group size: up to 18 guests, one mat each.
- When: weekend afternoons and evenings, plus weekday times by request.
- Where: 3264 Johnson Ave, Riverdale. We have a parking lot right at the studio, and it's an easy trip from Manhattan and Westchester.
- Experience needed: none. Every practice is taught for the room in front of us.
- Food & drink: you’re welcome to bring any food or cake you’d like. The Full Descent includes hot tea and chocolate chip cookies.
- Booking: a 50% deposit holds your date; the balance is due a week before.
Questions
Half my group has never done yoga. Is that okay?
That’s most groups. We teach to whoever shows up, with options for every body, and nobody gets left behind.
What’s a sound bath?
You lie down, get comfortable, and let the sounds wash over you. Most people say it’s the deepest rest they’ve had in months.
What is Reiki, and will I be touched?
Reiki is a gentle energy practice, offered with a light touch on the shoulders, head or feet, or with hands hovering just above. Prefer no touch? Tell us and we’ll work off the body.
Can we have both sound and Reiki?
Yes. The Full Descent includes a sound bath for the group and a private Reiki session for the guest of honor. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll shape it with you.
What should guests wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes they can move in. We have mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets for everyone.
Can we bring food, cake or decorations?
Yes, bring any food or cake you’d like. The Full Descent includes 30 minutes of hot tea and chocolate chip cookies.
Can we take photos?
Yes. We’ll even set up a few poses made for the group shot.
What if we need to reschedule?
You can reschedule once for free with at least 7 days’ notice. Just reach out as soon as you know, so we can be as flexible with you as possible.
