Vinyasa & Meditation

In this 90 minute workshop you will get a full and complete yoga experience.

It begins with a brief explanation of meditation as a mental state as we move throughout our day, how to get into meditation, and the benefits of doing so.

With this clarity, we’ll begin a full vinyasa (level 1) class where we move in and out of poses both on and off the floor. You’ll learn the basic sun salutation sequence and how to adjust the poses so that they feel good for you.

After a 45-minute vinyasa class, we’ll finish the workshop in the final pose of the vinyasa practice, savasana, or final resting pose. In this pose, you will lie flat on your back, relax your body, open your mind, and be guided through a meditation.

You’ll learn basic meditation techniques like visualization, breath control, and how to release resistance so you can better relate to your thoughts and regulate your emotions.
