NYC's Only Grounded Yoga Studio
There's a difference between a space that feels grounding and one that's actually grounded.
We built the real thing. When you practice with us, you're standing on an actual grounding system.
Strips of copper, connected to a grounded outlet, run across the floor in a deliberate grid — three rows, six mats each. Double-sided grounding mats rest right on top, in real contact with the earth beneath the building. No wires to step over. Just your body, meeting the ground, the way it was always meant to.
Every class here is somatic at heart — less about how a pose looks, more about how it feels from the inside.
Why it matters: Concrete, rubber soles, and long hours indoors keep us cut off from the earth. Early research on grounding suggests that reconnecting this way may ease inflammation, support deeper sleep, and help the nervous system settle. We've felt it ourselves, and we think you will too.

A slow, deeply restorative practice on one end, a strong, sweat-building flow on the other, and everything in between. The pace changes. The ground underneath you doesn't.

"I haven't attended yoga classes at a studio in a while because I'm very picky about content… If I'm going to go to a studio it has to be worthwhile. Inner Space Yoga is that studio. Ben has a lot of knowledge and there are a lot of variety in classes."Emily H., Google review
